The Story

Our clients Dave and Doreen came to us with the need of a space for hospitality as well as a passive income generating investment that they can rent out while not in use for friends or family. Located just outside Malibu, CA in the hills they wanted a modern, mountainous and relaxing aesthetic both on the exterior and interior.

Design

Flat black panels and clear grain exterior cedar tongue and groove siding set the standard for this homes design aesthetic. A rooftop deck tops it all creating outdoor living space while enjoying the view of the mountains.

Inside the large glass french doors you’ll find yourself in the living room. With a spa like bathroom to your left and a drop down galley kitchen on your right. A table and chairs slide out from the stairs to create a place to dine yet not taking up space when not in use.

A unique back side entrance to the master loft creates an open and private space with lofts of big windows and a backlit himalayan pink salt accent wall adds a relaxing touch to the space.
