Girls Build and Tiny Innovations on the Radio
Katie Hugh’s from Girls Build was interviewed on KXL’s Around the House with Eric G (part 2 is here)- you should listen and find out more about her great program, how Mike Rowe got involved, behind the scenes from Katie’s experience of the Mike Rowe show, the theft, and everyone’s incredibly generous response in donating time, tools and money, to get Girls Build back up and running! Jeremy and Ryan, Tiny Innovations’s founders, are also interviewed about their part in building the trailer and helping out after the theft – it’s a great listen. Part 2 covers more of the amazing donations, as well as what’s in the future for Girl’s Build – how they’ll grow, expand and help more people, and a bit more about us, Tiny Innovations.
In more Girls Build news, KPTV has a great follow-up piece on the situation, which you can read here.
And, again, thank everyone who has helped. The Go Fund Me is almost to $12,000, many organizations and people have donated tools to replace and go beyond what was stolen, and Girls Build has gotten lots of donations directly to their site, too. We’re truly amazed and grateful to you all – one bad action has led to such an incredible amount of good!
