Tiny Heirloom Featured in Fox Business
Fox Business just put out a wonderful article about how Tiny House living is on the rise, and they were nice enough to interview us for it! The article notes that more than half of Americans say they would consider living in a tiny home, and almost two-thirds of millennials. It discusses the advantages and disadvantages of owning a tiny home, and dives into the issues some people encounter in trying to find a place to put their home. The article offers great statistics, like that nearly 90 percent of tiny home owners have less debt than average Americans, and that small homes are appreciating twice as fast as the overall market.
When they interviewed us, we gave them our personal take on who buys tiny homes, and why: “The people who generally buy Tiny Homes are a mix, coming from all walks of life. Whether it’s a college student, graduate, family of four, or retiree; whether their reason is to achieve homeownership without the overwhelming, hefty price tag of a traditional mortgage, or maybe to just live a more free lifestyle without any roots, to be able to travel and even take their home with them.”
